Zaria ‘Van Jaarsveld’ in Afrikaans literally means Zaria ‘from years in the field’; as well as being the name of a small town in Holland.
So it’s perhaps no coincidence that Zaria grew up in the enchanted Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens in Cape Town, one of the most beautiful natural settings in South Africa.
