Souless Affection would like to thank – Xavier Morales(for all the years and teaching me everything I know about music and for the amasing work you have helped us put out). Jesse<eye>Roberts(man I could never have done any of this without you). David “UV” Frey (for the musical contributions you made to this album and helping bring my vision and nightmare to life). Arijah and Psyklon Aeon for their amazing artwork and logo for this album. The entire DMWI family, Austin CyberPunks, Rayne, Inferno, Dani and Thye Garza. Every band we have ever opened for, had the pleasure of playing with(all of you continue to inspire me to keep going). TEXAS/MINNESOTA – WHERE YA AT? YOU KNOW I WOULDN’T FORGET YOU!!!!! Specially all the fans out there that support us and our music, without any of you we are nothing.
I have to thank my lovely other half Casey and my bandmate Jon(for always putting up with my mood swings and always being there when I needed you most). My daughter (Makayla) for always being my inspiration.
Last, but not least………I give this to all of the children of the night. It's not your fault..........you were young and vulnerable, and someone took advantage of that. You are not gay/dirty/ugly/unwanted, you are beautiful/kind/unwaivering/and stronger than you think. You have survived what some people would have given in to suicide over. Some people will not understandyou because they fear you. They mistake your kindness for weakness, they do not know you have seen and harbored enough hatred for 10 life times.
Shame on those who think you a joke/outcast or different, it is their loss. It's hard I know, what right do they have to judge. They do not hold you at night when the nightmares become unbearable, or hold an umbrella for you when life just pours one heartache after another on you. Those days when you settled for less than you were worth because it was better than being alone. For you are stronger than you think. If they only knew the child in you begging to scream out!!!!!!!
The tempered rage that you are capable of, but giving into that would make you as bad as them. It's not your fault..........you shine and show the world that you have wings that they could never touch, never tear out the feathers and when you stretch them out people with cry at the beauty. Do not be ashamed of they things you had to do to survive. you were left with very little choice at that time, but now you have a choice. Be for others what no-one was for you! Be their voice!
I give this to the children of the night who have known little light. To those who have suffered and are still suffering. Remember you are not alone and never again will you be...............Rest your head and know that every night I am on stage I relive your nightmares so that you can for once in your life know what it is to sleep peacefully...........................
