“She Cant Afford Mascara” was born out of a need of south asian representation for the Underground goth scene in Europe.
The artist Adam Shazard behind the solo projekt started working as a clubkid in the gay Underground scene.
Without any money and a non supporting muslim family, they would have to steal cosmetics
In order to express them self and forfill the lifestyle they wished to become
And therefore the name “She Cant Afford Mascara” came.

Its a field full of melodramatic depressed truth about pakistani goth trauma
The art of delusion and glamour you meet in sticky dancefloors in the scene
Its The meeting of newbeat goth ebm and pakistani/ ethnic Music tradition

S. C. A. M is contempoary Underground theathre and Music in one.

The beginning of the Recordings was done in 2018 together with my good friend Sune Køter Kølster

With a Large Music background in both the local Underground punk scene with the band “Guddommelig Galskab”
But also in fields of both traditional classical and ethnic world Music
And often works All over the world
