Barrel Beats by OilCan

In 2025, a pair of oil rig workers discovered an object at the bottom of an empty oil barrel that someone had set aside to be disposed of.

That oil-drenched object turned out to be a minimally marked cassette tape. The only information given by the lonely tape was simply "Side A" and "Side B." There were no clues that indicate who the creator was, or why it was discarded at the bottom of a barrel.

The workers were able to rid the cassette of most of the oil, but the tape will never be fully recovered. They still managed to resurrect it to a playable state, but the result was a collection of beats that are dark, murky, raw, imperfect and soaked in oil.
