Good Onions by Jakob Dinesen, Eugene Ball, Guffi Pallesen, Rajiv Jayaweera
Whilst on tour in Copenhagen in 2005 with the Hoodangers, Australian trumpet and drummer, Eugene Ball and Rajiv Jayaweera, connected with Danish saxophonist and bassist, Jakob Dinesen and Guffi Pallesen. Through a series of club dates and street performances, the quartet revelled shared repertoire and exchanged original compositions by Jakob and Eugene. With support from the Danish Jazz Federation and the Australian Council for the Arts, the quartet embarked on a concise tour of Australia in 2007, which culminated in a recording for ABC radio program, Jazztrack. These are the takes from that session, recorded live to two-track and unedited.
