Hometown Tales by Carson Colenbaugh
This collection of songs is the first in a series of broadsides introducing new and revised folks songs meant to be sung, shared, and adapted. Hometown Tales covers topical, historical, and regional content from the coastal plain to the lower Appalachians in the time from the early 1800s to the present day. Included with each song are brief notes about the historical context and musical origins.
