Between Fate, compared to the likes of 311, Breaking Benjamin, Foo Fighters, was born on a sunny day in 2010. Drummer Shawn Duncan and guitarist Greg Galvan began writing some music and looking for others to join the family. Within a few weeks, Eric Smith joined Between Fate as the lead vocalist. The Between Fate family was complete with the addition of bassist Ben Kirch in the summer of 2010.
