Reborn by Bassa Boso

Bassa Boso is a dynamic 6-piece live band hailing from Liberia, West Africa, formed in 2022. Comprising a talented group of local youth aged 17 to 23, they are on a mission to revive and celebrate the rich musical heritage that originated with the early settlers who brought jazz and blues to Liberia from America during the 18th century.

Based in Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia, Bassa Boso has been captivating audiences with their soulful performances at various street music venues. Their music pays homage to the cultural fusion that emerged from the return of freed American black slaves to Africa.

The band's debut project, titled "Reborn," features six vibrant Afro-Pop tracks and will be available on all major social media platforms, allowing fans worldwide to enjoy their unique sound.

Bassa Boso is not just a local endeavor; it's a Canadian music project that collaborates with talented artists from Liberia, fostering a musical synergy that transcends borders. The EP was recorded live in Monrovia using a Yamaha 350 digital mixer. The post-production process involves mixing in Scarborough, mastering in Vancouver, and production in Toronto, Canada, ensuring a high-quality listening experience for their audience.
