Bring flashbacks to a time of laughter
Happy memories
Of holidays and all the good times past.
Looking out this window for the very last time
The bird feeder and the old stone wall
Through summer heat and winter snow
The seasons flew so fast
As I marvel I hear voices in the hall

It’s a circle … unbroken

Trees lose their leaves but new ones blossom
From the bones of all who came before
The love within these walls
Is now the gift we pass along
And our young will use its strength to carry on
