Last weeks end and this weeks beginning
Meld to one boring pie with no filling
Tastelessly flavourless, circle that’s centreless
Luckily boredom ain’t prone to bulk billing.
Yesterdays news is todays social highlight
Keeping my mind entertained through to twilight
Yesterdays history keeping my sanity
Same hook for the same fish to bite.

I like yesterday better that today,
It always looks better when the endings already played.
Shoot myself in the foot so I can stay in bed.
Maybe i’m too lazy to get off my hiney and
Jump in the gene pool to make some waves, ey.

I wake up late to make sure I feel awake,
Wasting the morning to savour the day
My insignificance caused by my selfishness
Feel hopelessness wash me away.
