Glorious from Gozzie by Z is for Zilla

In October 2010, I had just come back from my big trip to the United States. During the trip I wrote, texted or spoke to Gozzie everyday, which we had done since we'd met nine months earlier.

We were so close by then, so in love, so enwrapped in one another, captured. We were a cliche, the same one all those phony love songs sing about. I had completely succumb to the fantasy. He told me he didn't want me to move to America, not when he was moving his whole family to be closer to me. I told him I wanted to have his baby. He loved the idea. I'm so stupid.

After I came back home I was totally exhausted and in need of some RnR, some lust, some fantasy. I needed my escape. I missed him so much.

Gozzie and I would often chat on MSN while he was on the tube to work, which made it around 3pm in Hong Kong. This is how I learned about the glory hole incident - over MSN! MSN! At 3:30 in the afternoon! While I was at work!!! The fucking coward.

Two days later I'd written a third song for Gozzie, knowing it wouldn't be my last.
