The composition 'Mikroskopien I' is divided into three parts. The second part (Mikroskopie 1.2) can be looped without interruption - if your player allows that.

"The series 'Mikroskopien' is based on microscopic recordings and sounds, which I dissect into their smallest parts in the studio. In doing so, I use different highly sensitive microphones and recording methods. In this way, I reach into the sonic microstructures. Somehow I did not really create the melodies you hear in this album myself, but rather discovered, excavated and isolated them, similar to the way one encounters visual patterns and textures with a microscope and enhances its visibility. Working that way, it kind of feels like entering a parallel universe." Zimoun
