Lyrics
Green Tunisia.
my friend i’m tired because of my Arabism
Is Arabism a curse and a punishment?
what shall I say ? My mouth searches for my mouth
and the vocabulary is stones and soil.
I wonder from where I get into the poem
and the sun above our heads is a crypt.
I walk afraid on the map paper
besides on the map we are all strangers.
Green Tunisia, this is a world
rich of illiterates and swindlers.
Even If Kaphor ever existed, then how many leaders
have oppressed their peoples and their crown was a shoe.
The map of the great homeland is a scandal
there’re security barriers, police stations, and dogs.
The Arab world is either a slaughtered sheep or a butcher ruler.
They fight over the leftovers of a date
over their raised daggers and bayonets.
Their kisses are Arabic .. Who has seen
in all he has seen, kisses having fangs.
They jeer old wine
and they are flies on the surface of wine.
The old wine remains wine,
even if the cups change.
