Laniakea from Laniakea by Zhea Erose

Laniakea, track six of six, was a track I discovered deep within my old project files. Exhuming the piece, I found a lovely world of pop and click grooves. The piece developed very quickly and inspired me to explore my vocals further.

Laniakea is a word I ran into recently that I saw surrounding science articles/sites/discussions. It's being used to label the geography of our local galactic supercluster. More so, it is a Hawaiian word that roughly translates to "boundless heavens/universe". I love thinking about music as a boundless universe for exploration. Hope you guys enjoy track 5/5 for the 40 minute album Laniakea.

The world in my veins, societies pains,
conflict and grace define this human race.

are these opalescent clouds in which we lie within.
