Gator Eater by Zephyr

There’s a huge ass gator in my backyard
Been there for the last two days
I called Mad Johnny, I called the Butcher
We’ll see which of us remains

I’m a gator eater, a crawfish sipper
With gumbo on my mind
I let the cauldron slowly simmer
While I’ll be on my grind
Across the table, the feast enabled
All good juices within
A steaming pile of all God’s creatures
I insist you dig in

Mad Johnny attacks, the Butcher in waiting
The gator has no chance
Tangled and fighting, like water and lightning
This is not a warm romance

Twist and turn to avoid the burn
I know it hurts but it soon be over
Mean ol’ gator we mean you no harm
No need to snap on Mad Johnny’s arm
Here come the Butcher he will be your friend
Ignore the rifle in his hand
I swear what awaits you is sweet caress
Of course I’m lyin’ we will roast your ass

Cause we are gator eaters, crowfish sippers

To smoke until it shines
Cause all the good folks will be over
