1 year ago, with the world shutting down and events everywhere canceled, Dropkick Murphys' virtual St. Patrick's Day show was a defiant light amidst overwhelming darkness. Hoisting a Guinness at home by myself I watched, and the sense of impending doom was replaced by one of hopefulness.
An ode to this experience, Green Night is a sing-along celebration of resilience - in our common struggle to survive a pandemic, and in our constant fight for justice. Bound together by the power of music, friendship, and yes - beer, there's nothing we can't get through.
One day soon we'll be together again - singing at the top of our lungs, arms around each other and drinks raised. We'll be SO excited to sing this song with you!
