The tested, unseen mystery
From ancient times to age of enlightenment
To wars on wars and bunch of fighting men
Maybe they were just sorta evil
They were Renaissance men but their views were mideval
And if we get into modern times
We won't aquit ourselves of all those crimes

The etymology of "the state" and "the mystics"
The words may be strange and exotic
But they're tainted by semantics and semiotics

But you sit there with your fancy binuculars
