Duality Embrace from Overcoming by Zahili Zamora

Duality Embrace is a solo piano composition that encapsulates the
delicate balance of holding on and letting go, modeled by the fusion
of diverse styles and influences I pull from. This piece combines
stylistic threads from my classical music background, heavily
inspired by Bach, Chopin, Lecuona and José María Vitier, with the
later jazz imprints of Michel Petrucciani, Bill Evans and Hank Jones.
This composition embodies the concept of embracing and integrating
contrasting elements, laying bare my lineage, and celebrating the
notion that I can be a melting pot of all these influences, expressed in
a singular sound.

Her musical journey has carried her from Canada to Southeast Asia and now to the United States, always guided by growth, artistry, and a deep desire to share her music and love of life. Far from home, she continues pushing boundaries, blending rich influences with masterful improvisation, establishing herself as a leading, inspiring voice in modern Latin jazz.
