Despair from Overcoming by Zahili Zamora
Despair was a piece that unfolded during the COVID
pandemic. I was exhausted from living in the fear and
fallout of constantly questioning myself and feeling less
than and misunderstood (esp. musically). When COVID
brought a hard stop to performing, I couldn’t avoid an
undeniable truth: to continue my journey as an artist,
something would have to shift; I would have to ask for help.
