Is rock bottom a place you go to pay for mistakes? Can it be avoided or is it inevitable? With so much collapse around us everyday it's easy to blame ourselves for things we can't control. As soon as we do, we invite self-sabotage; pouring fuel into an ever growing pit of despair. 🔥⛽️

But great upheaval and misfortune always presents itself as an ending when it's truly just the page before another chapter. A chance to redefine ourselves. When life takes everything away do you see past the mirage of futility to make your own luck? Our lives were thrown into chaos the last two years but we came out the other end with amazing songs and more to come. 🍀 🧨

Luck is a firecracker imploding under its own emotional gunpowder. Post-hardcore guitars blast open upon entry alongside vulnerable but jaded lyrics ramping up the energy throughout the song. Layers of brooding group vocals on the bridge reminisce the emo glory days before clever rhythm changes on the final chorus hammer home the caustic desperation with just a hint of optimism. Luck would sit comfortably amongst its peers of the "When We Were Young" Fest lineup. 🖤
