Études by Natse
Études – the debut EP of Natse – is the second release from the record label YGAM.
Member of the dub duo Nood & Gang, Natse draws his inspiration from reggae, but after discovering electronic music, his compositions headed towards the fields of ambient, electroacoustic, dub, hip-hop and experimental music.
Études (meaning "Studies" in French), as its name suggests, is a research work – on electroacoustic composition. Through the three tracks of this EP, Natse connects two different worlds, by blending harmonies and pulsations into an atonal landscape. The result is an almost lunar atmosphere, where notions of gravity and existence are called into question, delivering us a real experience of the senses.
