Chante Ishta by Taste Nate & Tai The 13th

This album is the follow up to our EP “Zero Point Visions”, Which was a fluid, spacey and contemporary sound produced entirely by Tai The 13th. It blended well with my dense lyricism and unorthodox concepts. On this album we chose a variety of different beats so it is not just one pocket and we chose to lean more on the performance and arrangement and less on effects. While a lot of the production, writing and recording was done separately, we really took the time to work together in the studio through many of the mixing and mastering sessions.  On this album I am doing more singing than I normally would and I rap with styles that are different for me, I just want to make music that I haven’t done before while staying authentic to my voice and recording technique. Aside from any of the songwriting, I really want listeners and other artists to get a vibe for the big tune that Tai is creating. There really is a whole lot of attention to detail and nuance that went into this album.
