Orbital Speed by Poj
Some meetings are obvious: this is the case here with Poj. This young Parisian seems indeed to have understood the spirit of Yanked Beats, as he shows it to us through these five 160 BPM tracks combining subtly energy and delicacy.
Captain Poj embarks us on his ship for a kind of interstellar journey for which he thought of taking with him his jazz and dub influences to entertain us. During this space journey cadenced by footwork rhythms, we can also cross beyond some jungle windings betraying his love for the drum & bass.
An EP impregnated with poetry that should inspire you as much as we are, which is why we wanted to give him a chance among us for his first solo project.
