Remphan by Yaldabaoth

Remphan marks the break with ancient gnostic texts and the opening of a new narrative path, completely authorial. We decided to tell the history of a new creation made by demons – The Goetia – and stolen from them by a selfish god, the leonine serpent Yaldabaoth, through a little divine artifice.

We rewire the natural world with the diabolic one, exposing it as the fruit of spontaneous will and sensual pleasure of Daemons with ambiguous character, more similar to human being than christian mythology wants to make believe. Humans themselves were not made by clay, but the flesh and squama of the snakes. They were created by Goetia to confront Yaldabaoth in the future to come and proceed with the emanations of new aeons, occupying gods roles.

Yaldabaoth was enemy of Goetia’s plan and wanted to submit the current aeon to a state of permanent immobility, where it will be worshiped as a god for all the eternity by unwillingly puppets. Yaldabaoth finally became the antagonist and its triumph marked the beginning of a new cycle. It defeated Goetia, kept humans incomplete and devoid of all your potential powers, because it took possessions of them instead. It calls itself by sculptor of the world that just stole – “Demiurge”. Employed the enslaved demons to create new entities, gods, archons and messengers that will make everything and everyone your own will. Between the new gods is Remphan, the flaming star, chosen by Yaldabaoth as leader of the demiurgic order and most important server. Remphan’s mission is to submit human being to slavery. However, interest conflicts with Demiurge are inevitable.
