Crawled from dreams, devouring the silence, wrapping its fingers around, pressing into your mouth. Ancient glass filling your lungs. Nowhere left but the claustrophobic expanse. A cry from below, the sky presses down. Ground screaming upward at the plastic stars.

The world that needs you is in another body. No universe in this one, any home but yours. Nothing left but a thirst and a hopeless god screaming at the walls closing in as your path stretches beyond.

Your stomach unfolds and your eyes meet the sky. This is not my death, and this is not my god.

The world that knows you forgets you, and the world that forgot you pleads. You have lost both now, stuck between two white sheets, expanding past your vision. If only you could see the other side. May god have mercy upon you.
