Xumapaz by Xumapaz

Xumapaz is a crossroads, a melting pot, a mixture of melodies, sensibilities, experiences and sounds. The band members came together at an essential moment in their lives, in a unique place on the planet – Bogotá, Colombia – to create new songs inspired by their individual journeys as well as this rare collective odyssey. Their first single and video clip “Balapalé”, directed by brothers Diego and Sergio García-Moreno, is an urban mapalé penned by Sally to the sound of gunfire outside her apartment window on a rainy night in Bogotá and a fine example of this fusion.
