The Monolith by X Minus One
The debut album from X Minus One brings hardware & software synthesizers together with acoustic drums. to bring an otherworldly atmosphere of drama and unease.
It's an adventure in ambient, doom, drone and noise inspired by "atom punk"; the retro-futuristic science-fiction of the 50's-60's as depicted in magazines such as Analog and Astounding, and radio dramas such the one which gave us our name.
