Mono Love by Xeming

The work on this album started in 2015, when I had no appropriate working space. So I started from preparing some arrangements on very rough quality at home. Later on I got in the studio, where some parts could be done way better. Also I wanted to do some vocals, since I had not done this after the Alteration record in 2012. The lyrical part really interacts with the musical one, as I chose the title for this record. On the one hand, I had to say goodbye to a beloved synth called SIEL Mono, so I tried to bring a last tribute to my love towards this warm instrument. On the other hand, I really advanced my way of life during this two year period, so this at least is an abstract of my personal development during monogamy and degressing from it. I'm glad, that afterwards the musical approach fits the actual progression in my life.
Here are some fun facts about this album:
Erred lyrically was all about a relationship with Satan and stuff. Afterwards I realized, it suited well on a certain person nearby.
Decision II related to my Nectar album, at least I thought the bassline would. But in the end I could not guess the link anymore.
Trip Advisor was written and recorded in 4 days after touring with my band Swedenborg Raum. I wanted it to become a musical summary of all the impressions I gained on this tour. Hugs to all the ones who were part of it!
What I Do is the first track on which I actually played the drums, instead of just programming the whole thing. This was quite an experience for me.
