It seems rather appropriate that the 200th release from Wormhole World should be from the man that was the influence and impetus behind the label.
"I've always hidden behind band names and aliases in the music I make. Wearing a mask makes it somehow easier to be someone else or a project a side to your personality that you wouldn't normally show. I thought that it was finally about time I raised my head above the parapet and present an album which bookmarks my 50th year with a plain statement about improvised guitar playing, me as a person and which documents where I'm at right now"
Releasing 'Ash Cooke' is nothing short of a massive honour for Wormhole World.
