Mt. Indigo by Words of Phrase

This song is about losing love. It's about being used, deceived and becoming lonesome and broken. In "Mt. Indigo" I'm returning to the mountain I fell in love on but this time with a broken heart as the scenery darkens my perspective. I now recognize the true colors and I'm trying to make it out of this feeling alive.

Words of Phrase was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia and then moved to Maine as a teen, eager for his voice to be heard. He developed his unique flow, stylistic delivery and personality from the vastly different climates. He was inspired by the poetic language of authors, poets, musicians and artists that rebel against the norm and embrace the independent art form.
