Deidades by Bear the Storyteller
A conceptual work about the connection between the different elements that knock Nature into shape and the animals that represent them through a collection of myths or deities (Deidades) taken from the millenary Celtic culture from the north of the Iberian Peninsula, a musical creation that is also translated into images through an amazing artwork that reveals the six animal deities that, at the same time, are the six songs or legends that constitute this album...
Six completely instrumental songs where nostalgic neofolk melodies emerging from the guitars of the Bear are amazingly complemented with traditional folk instruments such as the bodhrán played by Cristina Mejías, the wind instruments played by Rafael Viudez (both from Càirdean), or the medieval hurdy-gurdy played by Teresa Peciña (Vael)... a one hundred per cent acoustic album, beyond a few electronic arranges in the closing song, just pure magic and passion made music...
