INTERNET SHUTDOWN by WILLPOWER
Internet Shutdown is a track WILLPOWER made for his performance at Ephemeral_001, an offline Post Web event by Black Sky Society. It was held late 2023 in Istanbul, during Ethereum conferences.
The track is about preparing ourselves for what is happening in terms of the internet becoming compromised, as well as our privacy, cyber attacks, CBDC's and all the dystopian stuff they want to push on us.
The Post Web is about creating an unsurveilled internet that is peer to peer, open source and decentralized. The Web is becoming more and more controlled each day and so it is up to us to create the world we want to live in, creating the nUtopia.
Internet Shutdown is made to activate ourselves into being the answer we have been waiting for. Waiting for corporations and govs to create the world for us will leave us in a bad situation with all our freedom and privacy stripped away. The goal is to actively create the world we want to be a part of. For WILLPOWER, as an artist, he puts his messages in his music to show people something they may not see otherwise. Seeing how mislead the people of the matrix are, it activates him to do this type of Art. It is not designed to create fear as WILLPOWER rapped in the song. It is designed to trigger us to create the world we want to be a part of instead of psycopath rulers doing it for us.
For the spiritual new age perception of not talking about what is going on because it makes it manifest, it is an incomplete dogma. The part people are unaware about is that action is required to create certain things in the physical world. WILLPOWER finds this new age state of mind weak and disempowering. He thinks it was spread by gurus and spiritual leaders to turn people passive so that they would not take action and remain docile.
