3 phase by William Doran Quartet
3 phase is a modal composed album with various forms the switch between the fender and piano was to help embody the spirit of each composition . This was made with intentional references to some 70's post bop. With the pared back quartet sound we have much more open feel with an abundance of rubato and also ,the recording onto tape has given extra torsion inference.
