Vibrating Air by William Delano
Originally released on cassette in 1983!
This was the purest, most drone-based expression of my love of synthesizers, recorded at home in Sausalito in 1978, with additional recordings and treatments made between then and 1983.
I kept adding to it, taking stuff off, and eventually realised that I loved this drone as-is.
It's not an easy listen, but it's simplest thing I ever made. Shortly after I released this, I stopped making music. Perhaps I minimised myself out of a career.

He has recently begun recording and releasing new music for the first time since 1984, including the new album 'Southernmost' (a collaboration with the UK artist Riverrun) and 'Sacred Waters' with Alan Lidden.
