Calm Rain by Wild Aesthesia

WA001 Calm Rain features recordings of rain in various environments in Africa and Europe. I spent years traveling to extremely remote places so I could record clean soundscapes without interference from man-made noise.

From the mountains of Transylvania to the jungles of the Congo and from the savannas of South Africa to the highlands of Ethiopia, rain brings peace and tranquility. You can almost smell and taste the earthy petrichor.

Some insects and birds can still be heard calling, especially in the recordings from the rainforest. These are muted and subdued though. As a bonus, one track features a distant elephant call. I will let you discover which one though.
