'Elysium' is a place or condition of ideal happiness. My roots are steeped in jazz, especially free, avant-garde, abstract jazz. My love for this genre finds me returning to it again and again to create new music.
The heart of the musician and the heat of the moment merge together to create a form of 'abstract expressionism'. An abstraction that is spontaneous, sophisticated, and filled with richness. A push-pull drama, wild and untamed with an elegant defiance which is intense and beautiful.
Whipd Beats aka Melanie Webb is an electronic music producer, composer, and song writer from Perth, Australia. Her debut track "Joie de Vivre" reached number nineteen on the Traxsource Afro House Essential in 2018. After two years in the making her album "Eclectic" will debut on July 16th, 2021.
