I'm drowning from the flesh in my head
Another sound comes through like hot lead
Finding out I'm alone in my bed
This sound carries well
But it gets buried beneath it all
Time to slip and once again I fall
Into a dreamless sleep
Filled with roots in my mouth
And around my throat
The roof comes crashing down
And I awake just to fall back in
Into the dreamer's deep, deep sound
Am I awake?
