"so the way this came together was that tahina kept sending me samples on discord which caught my attention each time & despite us both heavily inspired by our shit, i decided to take a step forward & make an entire project with a melodic yet unique aesthetic within 2 weeks. and just a quick disclaimer to those who aren't aware: this sounds NOTHING like my other project that i released earlier this year (IAHBYA). although i experiment with shit all the time, this is something that blends one name with one another making this a more somewhat defined art piece. anyways, the rest is probably history, might make a deluxe at some point, blah blah blah; you basically get the point. if you end up getting inspired by our project, you're welcome. hope you enjoy the project, love you all!!" - graceland, july 12.
