Hawthorn (Track) by Harvest Moon

This track developed out of experimenting with my recently acquired MCO by ALM and the QuBit Nautilus. I had the patch set up for a couple of days and tweaked a bit here and there but felt, something was missing.

I still had a kit of the Befaco Instrument Interface that I got as a birthday present from my wife sitting on my bench. I hesitated to build it due to parts cound and the density of the pcb-population. But somehow I began putting it together and put it in the rack with afforementioned patch still in place. I took my guitar to test the Instrument Interface with the patch playing in the background and the guitar riff wrote itself in no time.

I then just had to hit record, add the field recording made in our garden and that's how "Hawthorn" came to life.
