lonely wolf silhouette dangerous
against a peaceful yet troubled background
spreading evil - richer than a rosette
of blood
but how to crack the mind of madness
incarnate?

blue metal soulless machine
glinting in the newborn rays
of sunrise over Port Arthur
where all the trapped and screaming
faces
merge into the black heart of one
who moves in the shadow of man

green lawns manicured merge into
fragrant blue skies
and throngs of the living
spread their picnics for the last
supper
as children frolic like wispy wind
and stir eternal the
haunted forgotten wrecks of humanity
lurking a ways up the hill

for who could guess the mind of a
madman
as he stalks his shadow
