Blind Mullet Chitlin is a cult Australian blues-rock artist whose myth has travelled dusty roads from Winton to Warrego and beyond. A former outback drifter, harmonica preacher, and gold-top Gibson slinger, Chitlin built his sound from slide guitar, desert mysticism, and outlaw poetry.
Thought lost in the late ’80s after a string of bootleg cassettes and whispered bar gigs, he returned with a vengeance and a vision. His 2025 single “The Iron Holmes” and its fuzz-drenched B-side “The Gaslamp Cult” mark the rebirth of a legend who never truly left.
Equal parts John Fahey, Steve Earle, Otis Rush, and a touch of Eddie & the Cruisers, Blind Mullet Chitlin delivers bushland blues for the psychic wars.
