There's a level of organization and micromanagement that's undeniably necessary. Things don't just haphazardly fall into place consistently enough to overlook all of the key details of a situation and still expect everything to work out ideally (I can say this because I've attempted to do so enough to prove it). Though predetermining every aspect of all of your plans, and not leaving any room for deviations, can be just as detrimental in an entirely different way. In being hyper-attentive to an existing plan, you deny the possibility of improving or disproving yourself; you stay committed to things exactly as they are, even though in reality things are constantly changing and new revelations comes into effect that may totally revolutionize your perspective. There is so much power in deviation, there is so much power in discovery, there is so much power in diversity. There is so much power in everything that we don't yet know that we let sit stagnant if we don't work toward it. There's absolutely no use in developing paradigmatic mentalities that don't perpetuate outwardness when we have so much left to discover.

Watabou is the amalgamation of extensive electronic programming, punishing physical externalization, subconscious realization, and constructive manipulation of myself and my art. It is the peak of my artistic externalization and I hope you understand and enjoy it for what it is.
