The debut release from East London’s Midnight Bell recordings showcases 90 seconds of nonsense from the Unlondon festival hosts, Those Unfortunates, and a thrilling existential stomp from the Hammond-driven Hackney fourpiece, Walk Upright.
Walk Upright make timeless, tousled, pop music that touches on the ire of Mclusky, the Hammond-organ hookiness of Attractions-era Costello, and Pavement’s sense of mischief, but maintains an emotional directness that’s unmistakably their own.

A tousled guitar band of which 75% are in North London, 25% in North Vienna. We don’t rehearse often. Somehow there's an album coming out on 22 June!
