Commercial concert by Chazam, Madjic et Pichon

Chazam sings, Madjic plays the piano and Pichon plays the guitar in order to give the simplest interpretation of forty songs composed by the Residents, a San Francisco band active since the seventies.

Here are their versions of these short musical gems with a 1920s cabaret feel (...but recorded in 2020...)

The "COMMERCIAL CONCERT" first happened in November 1987 in Poitiers at the Confort moderne, then on tour through Europe.

The three musicians had the project to pay tribute to the Residents, but above all to their music. They were certain that behind the highly innovative and cutting-edge synthesizers and production effects of the time, there were some very beautiful songs.

Here is the studio version, worked on with the same musicians, thirty years after the initial concert.
