Remap EP by Void Complet

The Remap EP is the debut release from Chog Burley (aka Void Complet) and the first release from Natural Frequency Records, founded by LDLDN (NTS Radio, Spacebass).

The 3-track EP is an analogue driven, leftfield house exploration centred around the process of both making - and dancing to - music you love.

“Step Out” is a tune Void Complet always wanted to make. A tight pulsating bass riff that evolves into a marauding analogue presence spanning the frequencies. Sparse melodies and vocal snippets scattered over the top, propelled by driving hi hats and layered Juno lushness.

“Step Out (LDLDN Remix)” is a deeper, dancefloor-focussed take on the original, with a soulful mid section and strong synth layering throughout. To be played *very* loud.

“Find It In the Corner” is an ode to bedroom producers everywhere. Initially an experiment in sub bass - the only place Void Complet could hear it properly was in the corner of his studio. A stalking 303 takes hold of the track, leading you through sections both reflective and optimistic, anchored by stripped back drums and booming low frequencies.
