we fall into the folds of luxury and the pain of the outcast somehow drifts away. in comfort we find our occupation in the day to day routine that somehow bides our time. murder, rape, famine, war, control...it all goes away. we can all go home to another world. and we have this to divert our attention in our daily lives. it's somebody else's fight. somebody else's turn. we can all go home to another place where none of this exists. behind closed doors all the atrocities go away - it's somebody else. they fail to take the place in our lives they need to. you say this is your fight. you say this is your life. somehow it always takes the backseat but that would all change if that were you.
