Parastasis by Vlürch
Since the album will be mostly death metal, I'm also doing a psychedelic rock EP on the side. Well, psychedelic noise rock with black metal influences... and some other genres. Not really sure what to call it.
The lyrics of this song are in Arabic, Finnish and English at different parts, and kind of inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy (or at least the Inferno portion of it) but also other stuff; they're meant to be a bit ambiguous and "allegorical", so if you can make out any words, feel free to interpret them within reasonable limits. Like, even the title "Parastasis" can mean a ton of different things.
And yeah, I know my pronunciation of Arabic is really bad (so I didn't even try to get it perfect) and I wouldn't be surprised if there are also grammatical mistakes, but it's a cool language and I thought it was fitting to this song. I also don't write lyrics in Finnish often, but it's fun when it feels right.
