Creepify EP by VLNS Beats
In October of 2020, bored from the bullshit that was the spooky season during a pandemic (only because I dare not compromise my weak ass to coronavirus for what? Halloween? HA!) I was inspired by a new yet beautiful concept to taking a popular song and turning it into a horror movie theme song (I.e. “I Got 5 On It” for Us and “Say My Name” for Candyman).
Employing the suggestions of close friends and fans, I took ten songs (actually twelve, but two didn’t work for me) and I flipped them. I even created my own movie concepts for each one. It was a challenge, but I loved every moment of it.
