Lifechord EP by Pathagonia
Visionquest is back with an EP from the duo of Noha and Alex Tea as Pathagonia.
With A1 we jump in with "Lifechord", as tight bass and percussion line up and lead us into a deep meditation while marimba's roll in to dance, vocals popping in and out of the distance.
A2 is "Desire" with a driving bass line clipping along. Castanets punctuate and strings lush in and out giving a lovely night time pulse.
"Electroluv" is the first on the B side and it hits in with a broken beat and a whistle that drops into some lush chords leading to the full experience. chopped vocals and arpeggiated keys dance around in a nice crispy way with the massive drum drops.
B2 "Rebel" get's you right into the mood as beautiful percussive drums float in with the synths, the energy is high and rounds out the EP in a lovely way.
