Hipnosis is the debut album of the Argentine pianist Violeta Reynal, based in Barcelona.
From the opening track, the album invites us into a meditative state and this is no coincidence, as she composed each song by cutting fragments from guided meditations she improvised for her tinnitus patients. Violeta had tinnitus in 2019 and designed her own mind and body healing treatment using the piano to access very deep states of relaxation and recovered 9 months later. She then began guiding other people in the same situation and the piano became her treasured healing tool.

This album is the perfect fusion of her life as a pianist from an early age and her training in psychology and mindfulness meditation, resulting in a delicate range of sounds that invites you to step out of time and inevitably go within. The title refers to the subconscious space between wakefulness and sleep, amidst peaceful soundscapes where healing is possible.
Working with music in her clinical approach made clear to her the power of piano vibrations to direct the mind towards different states of consciousness, peace and love.

Violeta chose Puma Records, the independent label she shares with Costantino Vela, to release Hipnosis. This album became her artistic refuge in this new stage as a resident in Barcelona.

"Melodías Hipnóticas, un Viaje Sanador en Notas de Piano..."

Hipnosis es el álbum debut de la pianista argentina Violeta Reynal, residente en Barcelona.
Desde la canción de apertura, el disco nos invita a un estado de meditación y esto no es casualidad, ya que ella compuso cada canción cortando fragmentos de las meditaciones guiadas que improvisó para sus pacientes con tinnitus. Violeta tuvo tinnitus en 2019 y diseñó su propio tratamiento de curación de mente y cuerpo usando el piano para acceder a estados de relajación muy profundos y se recuperó 9 meses después. Luego, comenzó a acompañar a otras personas con el mismo síntoma y el piano se convirtió en su preciada herramienta de sanación.

Este álbum es la fusión perfecta de su vida como pianista desde temprana edad y su formación en psicología y meditación mindfulness, dando como resultado una delicada gama de sonidos que invita a salir del tiempo e ir inevitablemente hacia adentro. El título hace referencia al espacio subconsciente entre la vigilia y el sueño, en medio de apacibles paisajes sonoros donde la sanación es posible.
Trabajar con música en su enfoque clínico le dejó claro el poder de las vibraciones del piano para dirigir la mente hacia diferentes estados de consciencia, paz y amor.

Violeta eligió Puma Records, el sello independiente que comparte con Constantino Vela, para lanzar Hipnosis. Este disco se convirtió en su refugio artístico en esta nueva etapa de residente en Barcelona.

Violeta Reynal is an Argentine pianist and psychologist who composes music based on the guided piano meditations she improvises for her patients with tinnitus. Through those recordings her debut album was born: Hipnosis. Violeta was classically trained from the age of five with different private teachers in Buenos Aires. She lives in Barcelona with her cat Puma.
